People confuse tourists and travelers – be a traveler, not a tourist. Try new things, meet new people and look beyond what’s in front of you. I am a traveler in this world – not a tourist.
Expectations of Tourists:
Tourists usually stay in their comfort zones – instead of going to small towns, they go to big cities – where amenities are available.
The goal of the tourist is to take a relaxing break from everyday life – consider a vacation rather than a trip.
Tourists visit places for pleasure. It is pre-planned and he knows – where he is going. The tourist sees – what s/he came to see.
Expectations of Traveller:
Travelers usually try to explore less-traveled areas – exploring locations and interacting with locals.
The goal of the traveler is to learn and experience something new – consider travel rather than vacation.
The traveler does not know where he is going. It is not premeditated and the traveler sees what he sees sequentially – from anticipation.
পর্যটক এবং ভ্রমণকারী নিয়ে কিছু মানুষের বিভ্রান্তি রয়েছে- তাদের প্রাসঙ্গিক প্রত্যাশা বুঝতে অসুবিধা হয়। আমি এই পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণকারী- পর্যটক নয়।
পর্যটকদের প্রত্যাশা:
পর্যটক সাধারণত আরাম অঞ্চলে থাকে- ছোট শহরগুলিতে যাওয়ার পরিবর্তে বড় শহরগুলিতে- যেখানে সুযোগ-সুবিধা পাওয়া যায় সেখানে যায় ।
পর্যটকের লক্ষ্য হল – দৈনন্দিন জীবন থেকে আরামদায়ক বিরতি নেওয়া -ভ্রমণের পরিবর্তে ছুটি বিবেচনা করা।
পর্যটক আনন্দের জন্য জায়গা পরিদর্শন করেন। এটি পূর্বপরিকল্পিত এবং তিনি জানেন যে – তিনি কোথায় যাচ্ছেন। পর্যটক দেখেন – তিনি যা দেখতে এসেছেন।
ভ্রমণকারীর প্রত্যাশা:
ভ্রমণকারী সাধারণত কম ভ্রমণ করা এলাকা অন্বেষণ করার চেষ্টা করেন- অবস্থান অন্বেষণ করেন এবং স্থানীয়দের সাথে যোগাযোগ করেন।
ভ্রমণকারীর লক্ষ্য হল নতুন কিছু শেখা এবং অভিজ্ঞতা লাভ করা- ছুটির পরিবর্তে ভ্রমণ বিবেচনা করা ।
ভ্রমণকারী জানেন না, তিনি কোথায় যাচ্ছেন। এটি পূর্বপরিকল্পিত নয় এবং ভ্রমণকারী ক্রমানুসারে যা দেখেন- তা প্রত্যাশা থেকে দেখেন।
