• Poverty is a serious problem for the survival – sustaining and growth of people, communities, societies, and countries. Poverty is an obstacle to the economic progress of the country – it should be reduced.

Causes of Poverty Existence in a Country:

• মানুষ, সম্প্রদায়, সমাজ এবং দেশের বেঁচে থাকা – টিকিয়ে রাখা এবং বৃদ্ধির জন্য দারিদ্র্য একটি গুরুতর সমস্যা। দেশের অর্থনৈতিক অগ্রগতিতে  অন্তরায় দারিদ্র- তা কমাতে হবে।

• Poverty exists and the interrelationships are compounded by the following causes and effects:
• Poverty – Poverty exists because of wealth inequality, conflict, imbalance, and polarity.
• Poverty – hunger, malnutrition, and instability – comes from gaps in the social safety net.
• Poverty is caused by changing market demand for skills or labor.
• Poverty is caused by social inequality and exclusion as well as a lack of participation in decision-making.
• Poverty comes from a lack of income and productive assets – which fail to ensure sustainable livelihoods.
• Poverty is caused by poor health care – lack of access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene.
• Poverty comes from high costs and ineffective and inadequate education.

কোনো দেশে দারিদ্র্যের কারণ:

• দারিদ্র্য বিদ্যমান এবং আন্তঃসম্পর্কগুলি নিম্নলিখিত কারণ এবং প্রভাব দ্বারা সংমিশ্রিত হয়।
• দারিদ্র্য – সম্পদের অসমতা, দ্বন্দ্ব, ভারসাম্যহীনতা এবং মেরুত্বের কারণে দারিদ্র্য বিদ্যমান থাকে ।
• দারিদ্র্য – ক্ষুধা, অপুষ্টি এবং অস্থিরতা – সামাজিক নিরাপত্তা নেটওয়ার্কের ফাঁকের কারণে আসে।
• বাজার পরিবর্তনের  দক্ষতা বা শ্রমের চাহিদার কারণে দারিদ্র্য হয়।
• সামাজিক বৈষম্য এবং বর্জনের পাশাপাশি সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণে অংশগ্রহণের অভাবের কারণে দারিদ্র্য হয়।
• আয় এবং উৎপাদনশীল সম্পদের অভাব থেকে দারিদ্র্য আসে – যা টেকসই জীবিকা নিশ্চিত করতে ব্যর্থ হয়।
• দুর্বল স্বাস্থ্যসেবার কারণে- বিশুদ্ধ পানি, স্যানিটেশন এবং স্বাস্থ্যবিধিতে পথ না থাকার কারণে দারিদ্র্য আসে।
• উচ্চ ব্যয়, অকার্যকর এবং অপর্যাপ্ত শিক্ষা থেকে দারিদ্র্য আসে।
