Insult is the act of intentionally or rudely intending to behave rudely. Where- disrespect is the lack of respect or admiration. Neither is admirable. We need to learn how to avoid such situations.

অপমান হল একটি ক্রিয়া বা বক্তব্যের ধরন ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে অভদ্র, অসৎ আচরণ করার ইচ্ছা। যেখানে- অসম্মান হচ্ছে সম্মান বা প্রশংসার আচরণের অভাব। উভয়েই প্রশংসনীয় নয়। শিখতে হবে কিভাবে এই ধরনের পরিস্থিতি এড়ানো যায়।
Insult – usually done for the purpose of crime or to humiliate someone or something. Insult is an offensive comment and usually has very little objectivity.

অপমান- সাধারণত অপরাধের উদ্দেশ্যে বা কাউকে বা কিছুকে হেয় করার উদ্দেশ্যে করা হয়। অপমান একটি আপত্তিকর মন্তব্য এবং এতে সাধারণত খুব সামান্য বস্তুনিষ্ঠতা থাকে।

Impacts of Insult:
অপমানের প্রভাব:
  • Insults come from ingratitude, breaking promises, and being ignored. Shame degrades the personal and social status of those affected. Often the situation is triggered by insecurity in the neighborhood.
  • অপমান অকৃতজ্ঞতা, প্রতিশ্রুতি  ভাঙা এবং উপেক্ষা করা থেকে আসে। অপমান লজ্জাজনিত প্রভাবিত ব্যক্তিদের ব্যক্তিগত এবং সামাজিক মর্যাদা হ্রাস করে। প্রায়শই স্থিতি নিরাপত্তাহীনতায়  আশেপাশের রাগ দ্বারা অনুপ্রাণিত হয়।
Example:

  • Making fun of something and calling someone stupid.

উদাহরণ:

  • কিছু নিয়ে মজা করা এবং কাউকে বোকা বলা।
Disrespect- An act that shows disrespect and lack of respect for others. Pleasant, not attractive, and not acceptable.

অসম্মান- এমন একটি কর্ম, যা অন্যদের প্রতি অসভ্যতা এবং শ্রদ্ধার অভাব দেখায়। সুখকর, আকর্ষণীয় নয়, এবং গ্রহণযোগ্যও নয়।

Impact of Disrespect Behavior:
অসম্মানজনক আচরণের প্রভাব:
  • Disrespect causes bitterness to the recipient in communication and cooperation and weakens morale with fear, anger, shame, confusion, self-doubt, and frustration. Creates an unhealthy or hostile work environment.
  • অসম্মান প্রাপককে যোগাযোগ ও সহযোগিতায় তিক্ততা সৃষ্টি করে, ভয়, রাগ, লজ্জা, বিভ্রান্তি, আত্ম-সন্দেহ, হতাশার পাশাপাশি মনোবলকে দুর্বল করে। একটি অস্বাস্থ্যকর বা প্রতিকূল কাজের পরিবেশ তৈরি করে।
  Example:

  • He behaves like an innocent and despises the position, dignity, value of others; Places someone for his own failure.

উদাহরণ:

  • তিনি নির্দোষের মতো আচরণ করেন এবং অন্যের অবস্থান, মর্যাদা, মূল্যকে ক্ষুণ্ন করেন; নিজের ব্যর্থতার জন্য কাউকে স্থাপন  করেন।
