Husband and Wife’s Expectations:

• Compatibility is needed for a happy marriage.  Today’s-equality expectation family is trying to measure life mathematically and thinks that husband and wife should behave differently.
• Family structure is changing due to people’s mentality, wants, and needs. The family support system is diminishing. As a result, in the nuclear family, it seems that the husband/wife should behave differently.
• Husband/wife thinks – everything has to happen as s/he wants, or s/he has to do as s/he wants …
• Husband/wife respects the person for what s/he earns – not for what s/he is doing for the family.
• Husband/wife perceptions have changed with equal privileges – they expect food, clothing, and other personal needs to be shared without boundaries.

স্বামী/স্ত্রীর প্রত্যাশা:

• সন্তুষ্ট বিবাহের জন্য সামঞ্জস্য প্রয়োজন।  আজকের-সমতা প্রত্যাশা পরিবার, জীবনকে গাণিতিকভাবে  পরিমাপ করার চেষ্টা করছে  এবং স্বামী-স্ত্রীর আলাদা আচরণ করা উচিত বলে মনে করে।
• মানুষের মানসিকতা, চাওয়া-পাওয়া ও চাহিদার কারণে পারিবারিক কাঠামোর পরিবর্তন হচ্ছে। পারিবারিক সহায়তা ব্যবস্থা হ্রাস পাচ্ছে। ফলে, পারমাণবিক পরিবারে- স্বামী/স্ত্রীর ভিন্নভাবে আচরণ করা উচিত বলে মনে করছে ।
• স্বামী/স্ত্রী মনে করেন – সবকিছুই তার ইচ্ছামত ঘটতে হবে, অথবা সে যেভাবে চায় সেভাবে করতে হবে…
• স্বামী/স্ত্রী- ব্যক্তিকে সে যা উপার্জন করে তার জন্য সম্মান করে – পরিবারের জন্য সে যা করছে তার জন্য নয়।
• স্বামী/স্ত্রীর উপলব্ধি সমান বিশেষাধিকারের সাথে পরিবর্তিত হয়েছে- তারা খাদ্য, পোশাক এবং অন্যান্য ব্যক্তিগত চাহিদাগুলি সীমানা ছাড়াই ভাগ করে নেওয়ার  প্রত্যাশা করে।
