Purpose of Higher Education:

- Higher education provides deeper knowledge and understanding so that students can advance to new frontiers of knowledge. Higher education gives people the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills from time to time based on societal needs.
- Higher education aims at different elements such as collaborative and critical thinking skills, success in the labor market, civic service, social skills, empathy, commitment to civic engagement, and more…
- In Bangladesh – people often assume leadership positions without formal management, higher education, and training. Often, people without qualifications are promoted to management – even though they have not developed the skills required to manage a team and country.

- উচ্চ শিক্ষা হল জ্ঞান, যোগ্যতা, সৃজনশীলতা, নীতিশাস্ত্র, দক্ষতা, মূল্যবোধ, বিশ্বাস, অভ্যাস – ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে এবং কর্মক্ষেত্রে সমালোচনামূলক, এবং ব্যবহারিকভাবে চিন্তা করার ক্ষমতা।
- উচ্চ শিক্ষা ব্যক্তিকে আরও দক্ষতা বিকাশের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পূর্বশর্ত দেয় – কর্মসংস্থানের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করে।
- উচ্চ শিক্ষার লক্ষ্য হল বৈশ্বিক জ্ঞান, গবেষণা এবং উন্নয়ন, বিদেশী ভাষা শেখানো এবং স্থানীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারের জন্য দক্ষ স্নাতক তৈরি করা যা শিল্পের সাথে জড়িত।
