Parents dedicate their lives to the welfare of their children. Nurturing – educating children – so that children can grow up to be good citizens and assets to the family and society. So – children respect – admire – and loving parents.
Reasons to Respect Parents:
Parents are the most respected person in this world after Allah. Parents may be angry with their children for doing bad things – but, do not blame or hate the children.
Parents care for their children. For example – gives direction – imposes rules – uses discipline – sets limits – and teaches values. Parents are always with their children – in good and bad times. So – children respect them – and love them.
Parents play an active role in the management of their children as mentors – supporters, motivators, and evaluators. So – children respect them.
Parents are role models for their children. Children learn by watching. If parents do not argue or fight with spouses in front of children – children respect them.
Parents encourage their children – but not force them – and do not insult them when teaching something. So- children respect and admire them.
পিতামাতারা তাদের সন্তানদের কল্যাণে তাদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেন। সন্তানদের লালন-পালন – শিক্ষা দেন – যাতে সন্তানেরা ভালো নাগরিক এবং পরিবার ও সমাজের সম্পদ হিসেবে গড়ে উটতে পারে। তাই- সন্তানরা পিতামাতাদের সম্মান করে- প্রশংসা করে – এবং ভালবাসে।
পিতামাতাকে সম্মান করার কারণ:
এই পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহর পর পিতা-মাতাই সবচেয়ে সম্মানিত ব্যক্তি। বাবা-মা খারাপ কাজ করার জন্য তাদের সন্তানদের উপর রাগান্বিত হতে পারেন – তবে, সন্তানদের দোষ দেন না বা ঘৃণা করেন না।
পিতামাতা তাদের সন্তানদের যত্ন করেন। যেমন- দিকনির্দেশনা দেন- বিধি আরোপ – শৃঙ্খলা ব্যবহার – সীমাবদ্ধতা নির্ধারণ করে্ন – এবং মূল্যবোধ শেখা্ন। পিতামাতা ভাল এবং খারাপ সময়ে – সবসময় সন্তানেদের সাথে থাকেন। তাই – সন্তানরা তাদের সম্মান করে- এবং ভালবাসে।
পিতামাতা পরামর্শদাতা – সমর্থক, প্রেরণাদাতা এবং মূল্যায়নকারী হিসাবে তাদের সন্তানদের পরিচালনায় সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করেন। তাই – শিশুরা তাদের সম্মান করে।
পিতামাতা তাদের সন্তানদের জন্য রোল মডেল। সন্তানরা দেখেই শেখে। যদি, বাবা-মা সন্তানদের সামনে জীবনসঙ্গীর সাথে তর্ক বা মারামারি না করেন – শিশুরা তাদের সম্মান করে।
পিতামাতা তাদের সন্তানদের উত্সাহিত করেন -তবে জোর করে নয় – এবং কিছু শেখানোর সময় তাদের অপমান করেন না। তাই- সন্তানরা তাদের সম্মান এবং প্রশংসা করে।
