Qualities of Focused Person: 

• Focused person always has a plan to follow his/her thoughts. S/he has a clear picture of where as s/he is going and an idea of how to get there. Confidence in own experiential knowledge.
• Focused person controls his/her physical and mental environment and removes everything that is not conducive to his/her purpose.
• Focused person clearly understands why s/he is engaging in an activity. S/he prioritizes work over all other distractions to be accountable.
• Focused person does not allow distractions to get in the way of his/her goals. S/he controls the things s/he can control so that s/he can deal with things s/he cannot.
• Focused person avoids multitasking – because it takes too much time and results in poor quality work. Schedules his/her day with priority tasks so s/he can give full attention.
• Focused person does not compare himself/herself to others. S/he knows that worrying too much about others’ performance drains him/her of much-needed energy—and inhibits focused effort.
• Focused person evaluates his/her bad assumptions and his/her failure to learn from actions. Then s/he adjusted and returned to achieving success.
• Focused individual work on change, which brings stability, security and long-term happiness to self and family. S/he has a meaningful life.

Example:
Focused person prefer importance over urgency. So, s/he can pay house rent, hospital bills, utility bills even if s/he loses his job temporarily for any reason.

মনোযোগী ব্যক্তির গুণাবলী:

• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তির সবসময় নিজের চিন্তাভাবনা অনুসরণ করার পরিকল্পনা থাকে। তিনি কোথায় যাচ্ছেন তার স্পষ্ট চিত্র এবং কীভাবে সেখানে যাবেন তার ধারণা থাকে। নিজের অভিজ্ঞতামূলক জ্ঞানের উপর আত্মবিশ্বাস রাখেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি তার শারীরিক এবং মানসিক পরিবেশ নিয়ন্ত্রণসহ তার উদ্দেশ্যের জন্য সহায়ক নয় এমন সবকিছু সরিয়ে ফেলেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি স্পষ্টভাবে বোঝেন কেন তিনি কোনো কার্যকলাপে নিযুক্ত হচ্ছেন। জবাবদিহি করতে তিনি অন্যান্য সমস্ত বিভ্রান্তির চেয়ে কাজটিকে অগ্রাধিকার দেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি তার উদ্দেশ্যের পথে বিশৃঙ্খলাকে অনুমতি দেয় না। তিনি যে জিনিসগুলি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারেন তা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেন যাতে তিনি যে জিনিসগুলি করতে পারেন না তা মোকাবেলা করতে পারেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি মাল্টিটাস্কিং এড়িয়ে চলেন – কারণ, এতে বেশি সময় লাগে এবং নিম্নমানের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়। অগ্রাধিকার কাজের সাথে তার দিন নির্ধারণ করেন যাতে তিনি সম্পূর্ণ মনোযোগ দিতে পারেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি নিজেকে অন্যের সাথে তুলনা করেন না। তিনি জানেন অন্যদের কর্মক্ষমতা সম্পর্কে খুব বেশি উদ্বিগ্নতা তার প্রয়োজনীয় শক্তি নিষ্কাশন করে – এবং মনোযোগী প্রচেষ্টাকে বাধা দেয়।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি তার খারাপ অনুমান এবং কর্ম থেকে শিখতে তার ব্যর্থতার মূল্যায়ন করেন। তারপরে তিনি সামঞ্জস্য করে এবং সাফল্য অর্জনে ফিরে আসেন।
• মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি পরিবর্তন নিয়ে কাজ করেন, যা নিজের এবং পরিবারের স্থিতিশীলতা, নিরাপত্তা এবং দীর্ঘমেয়াদী সুখ নিয়ে আসে। তার একটি অর্থবহ জীবন থাকে ।

উদাহরণ:
মনোযোগী ব্যক্তি জরুরিতার চেয়ে গুরুত্ব পছন্দ করেন। সুতরাং, কোন কারণে তিনি সাময়িকভাবে চাকুরী হারালেও – বাড়ি ভাড়া, হাসপাতালের বিল, ইউটিলিটি বিল দিতে পারেন।
