Comment – A statement a person makes about an event or thing—expressing his opinion and explaining it without analysis. Comment is considered an explanation of an object’s already written text or event.
Comment is a subjective statement and not based on any facts or evidence.
Reasons for Commenting on Others:
Self-satisfied and happy people make good comments about others to encourage them.
Some people are insecure about themselves- so, make comments just to put someone else down.
People try to attract attention by adding comments on what they do.
The person may be jealous or spiteful towards you and make comments to put you down.
Example: Reader comments:- “The book was exciting in the beginning- but didn’t hold my attention towards the end.”
মন্তব্য – একটি বিবৃতি একজন ব্যক্তি ঘটনা বা জিনিস সম্পর্কে দেয়-যা তার মতামত প্রকাশ করে এবং বিশ্লেষণ ছাড়াই ব্যাখ্যা করে। মন্তব্য বস্তুর ইতিমধ্যে লিখিত পাঠ্য বা ঘটনা সম্পর্কিত ব্যাখ্যা হিসাবে বিবেচিত হয়।
মন্তব্য একটি বিষয়গত বিবৃতি এবং কোন তথ্য বা প্রমাণের উপর ভিত্তি করে নয়।
অন্যের সম্পর্কে মন্তব্য করার কারণ :
স্ব-সন্তুষ্ট এবং সুখী লোকেরা উত্সাহিত করার জন্য অন্যদের সম্পর্কে ভাল মন্তব্য করেন।
কিছু লোক নিজের সম্পর্কে অনিরাপদ- তাই, অন্য কাউকে নিচে নামানোর জন্য কেবল মন্তব্য করে।
লোকেরা যা করেন তার উপর মন্তব্য যোগ করে অন্যের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণের চেষ্টা করে।
ব্যাক্তি আপনার প্রতি ঈর্ষান্বিত বা বিদ্বেষপূর্ণ হতে পারে এবং সে আপনাকে নীচে নামাতে মন্তব্য করে।
ব্যাক্তি তার ভিতরের কিছু নিয়ে লড়াই করে- অন্যদের সম্পর্কে খারাপ মন্তব্য করতে পছন্দ করে। এই ধরনের লোকের মন্তব্যকে কখনই গুরুত্ব সহকারে নেবেন না- কারণ সে নিজেকে খালি মনে করে এবং আপনাকেও তার লাইনে দাঁড় করাতে চায়।
উদাহরণ: পাঠক মন্তব্য করেছেন:- “বইটি শুরুতে উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ ছিল- কিন্তু শেষের দিকে আমার দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করেনি।”
